Apostle Robert L. and Pastor Joyce M. Jones were both born in Ohio and have worked together in leadership roles of ministry in the church for over 50 years.
Apostle Robert was first licensed to ministry in 1965. He was ordained to Eldership in 1971, consecrated to the office of a Bishop in 2006, and later confirmed as Archbishop over Rivers of Living Water Ministries International. In 2019 he was confirmed to the office of Apostle by Chief Apostle Dr. Ronald King of Toledo, Ohio.
Pastor Joyce has pastored alongside of her husband in many churches through their married life for over 50 years and is currently assisting in that role. Through the leadership of the Holy Ghost in 2000, they were instrumental in founding their present ministry, Rivers of Living Water Ministries International and Rivers of Living Water Cathedral. Under their ministry, many ministers have been licensed and ordained both nationally and internationally through the years. Several Bishops have also been consecrated both nationally and internationally. Thus, they have become Apostolic Father and Mother to ministers both in the United States and around the world.

Our Statement of Faith begins with the belief that we believe the Bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God’s revealed word to man.
At our church we believe that Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).
We believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption (Genesis 1: 26-31, 3: 1-7; Psalms 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44, Romans 5:12-21; I Corinthians 2:14).
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; I Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21).
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:27; Romans 10:13-15; I Corinthians 1:18; II Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; II Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).
We believe the Scriptures ascribe to the Holy Spirit acts and attributes of an intelligent being, and the works of God such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification are also ascribed to the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2; Job 33:4; Mark 3:29; John 16:8; Acts 7:51, 10:19, 13:2, 13:4, 16:6; I Corinthians 2:11, 6:11, 12; Ephesians 4:30; I Peter 3:18, II Peter 1:21).
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Romans 8:5, Philippians 2:12, 13; I Thessalonians 4:3; I John 2:29).
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost is given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:4).
We believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. The soul and spirit do not die, but immediately after death enter into a conscious state of happiness or misery according to the character here possessed by rejection or acceptance of the Savior (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12; Philippians 1:23).
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11).
We believe in the personal imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4, 5; James 5:14, 15; I Peter 2:24).
“out of his belly shall flow Rivers of Living Water” — John 7:38
We are the “rivers” – the church conduit – through which the Lord works. The scripture says in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit.” He needs someone He can work through to accomplish His Will in the earth. Each of us can be a conduit for Him; however, we must yield ourselves to Him in order for Him to work.
Jesus Christ, along with the Holy Ghost, is the “living water” needed to change hearts and lives. As we yield ourselves to God and allow (or permit) the Holy Ghost to flow through us, God’s living water will meet the needs in those around us; and we will truly become the “salt of the earth” as Jesus said we are in Matthew 5:13.
Together with the Lord Jesus Christ, each of us is called as an integral part of the “church ministries” God is leading in this end time to minister to the needs of His Body. Each of us is so important! “But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body.” – I Corinthians 12:18-20. We are all of the same body; each with a distinct purpose for God.
Since God’s body is throughout the world, our church ministry is “international.” In Mark 16:15 we are commissioned by Jesus, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
